Ravensdale

Ravensdale is a folk band founded in Ireland and is heavily inspired by the Early Medieval time period.
Musically, the compositions include a variety of inspirations from the era and are sang in Old Norse, Slavic, English and Germanic, in reference to Slavic and Nordic lore.

Founded by Eric Eiresson (a’ka Eric von Ravensdale), the group started by performing at local historical reenactment shows in Ireland and have eventually taken on new challenges and audiences at much larger shows.

Ravensdale has performed at numerous shows with various artist (Corvus Corax, Seidrblot, Solfyr to name a few) in both Ireland and the UK.
Some notable festivals include the Boyne Valley Viking Experience in Slane, Valhalla Viking Festival in the UK, Jorvik Viking Festival (UK), Magnus Barelegs Festival (NI).

The Group is also recognisable internationally, thanks to the reach on social media and the variety of posts, representative of an original take on the Early Medieval timeline.
