Mary Bergin is a world-famous tin whistle player and is widely regarded as one of the most influential performers in the history of Irish traditional music. Born in Shankill, County Dublin, into a musical family, she won the All-Ireland tin whistle championship in 1970 and went on to transform the role of the instrument in modern traditional music. Her landmark debut solo album Feadóga Stáin, released in 1979, is considered one of the most important recordings in the whistle tradition.

She performed and recorded with both De Dannan and Dordán and has performed extensively throughout Ireland and internationally. She was awarded the TG4 Traditional Musician of the Year Award and in 2022 received an Honorary Doctorate from University College Dublin in recognition of her outstanding contribution to Irish music.

Mick Conneely is an acclaimed fiddle and bouzouki player and widely regarded as one of the finest fiddle players of his generation in Irish traditional music. Born into a distinguished musical family with roots in Errislannan, Connemara, he learned from his father and developed a rich repertoire shaped by the Connemara tradition. His debut solo album Selkie, released on the Cló Iar-Chonnacht label, received critical acclaim.

He has toured and recorded extensively and was a member of the renowned traditional group De Dannan over many years, including recording the album Wonderwaltz. A leading exponent of the bouzouki in Irish traditional music, he continues to perform and collaborate internationally.
