... an Ancient Music Festival in Dorlindon Forest
This summer, experience a celebration of Ancient Music in one of Ireland’s most enchanting natural settings. Hosted at Dorlindon Nature Sanctuary, the 2nd annual edition of this open-air festival brings together live performances of Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque music, performed in a mythical forest environment rich with beauty, stillness, and atmosphere. A unique blend of sounds from across the ages, including Irish Classical and traditional influences.

Faery Tales and Mirrors
Faery Tales in the Glass House by the Lake. Exploring Mirrors in Faery Tales - The Snow Queen, Snow White and Alice in Wonderland. Irish and European Faery Tales Grimm Brothers, Charles Perrault, Hans C. Anderson, Irish Wonder Tales and Slavic tales. A continuation of the Faery Tale Workshop in June at Dorlindon, but all are welcome. You will be guided in writing your own Faery Tale. No Writing Experience necessary. 8 week course to begin in Autumn.
The Heroine's Journey
A dynamic journey using Creative Writing, Meditation and Mythology. Drawing from the work of Clarissa Pinkola Estés, Carl Jung, Joseph Campbell, Sharon Blackie, Marion Woodman. A dive into Irish, Indian and Greek mythological archetypes, using Creative Writing. Explore your own personal mythology. No Writing Experience necessary. 8 week course to begin in Autumn.

Performance Storytelling
A Tale of the Morrigan and a Faery Abduction
A Tale performed in the tradition of the Seannachaí (old Irish Storytellers) about the Abduction by the Faeries of Micky and Peggy Tobin, by the Morrigan and by the Faeries (Sídhe) Peggy Tobin must remove the Curse on the Morrigan, Queen of the Battles of Madh Tuaradh in order to have her husband returned to her.
Survival course
In this course Shayne Phelan, an authority on Bushcraft and Survival, will teach you what we truly need to survive unsupported on the landscape from all manners of Fire Making, Water Disinfecting, Trapping & Snaring in the beautiful Scenic location of Dorlindon Forest Nature Sanctuary. Minimum age 16.
